Kaboomcano ("we") makes a free volcano game. This explains, in plain words, what data we collect and why. Short version: we collect as little as we can, and we never sell your data.

Guest play

You can play without an account. In guest mode, your progress (like unlocks and streaks) is stored only in your browser or on your device. We don't get it.

Optional sign-in (coming later)

Later we may offer optional sign-in with Google, Apple, or email so you can keep progress across devices and appear on leaderboards. If you sign in, we'll receive your email address and a user ID from that service, plus your game progress and the display name you choose. We use these only to run your account and the game. We do not offer TikTok sign-in.

Photos stay on your device

If you add a pet or friend photo to play with, it's read and drawn directly in your browser or app. It is never uploaded to us or anyone else. Only add photos of people who said OK, and never photos of kids.

Clips

Clips you save are made on your device. They only leave your device if you choose to share them, for example to TikTok, Instagram or YouTube. Those apps' own privacy policies then apply.

Notifications

Notifications (like "today's eruption is live") are opt-in only. You can turn them off anytime in your device settings.

Waitlist

If you join the waitlist, we keep your email to tell you when the app launches. We use a form provider ([PROVIDER NAME]) to collect it. You can ask us to delete it anytime.

What we don't do

• We don't sell or rent your personal data.
• This website has no third-party trackers, ad scripts or analytics cookies.
• We don't access your camera, microphone, contacts or location.

Ads and purchases (in the app, later)

Kids

Players under 13 can play in guest mode only. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and sign-in, leaderboards and the waitlist are for players 13 and older. Your choices

We use HTTPS and keep data we hold to the minimum needed. No system is perfectly secure, but we'll tell you if a breach affects your data as the law requires.
